Due to some technical difficulties, Facebook service was unavailable in some European countries on Wednesday.
The site was reportedly down for about two hours, and led frustrated users to turn to Twitter as a social networking backup.
A Facebook rep said “Today we experienced technical difficulties causing the site to be unavailable for a number of users in Europe. The issue has been resolved and everyone should now have access to Facebook. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
