Back Bay’s Forum Restaurant Closing Down

Forum Bar and Restaurant, a Back Bay restaurant damaged during the 2013 Boston Marathon Bombings, is closing it doors, as reported in the Boston Globe.

The restaurant, which is owned by Boston Nightlife Ventures, is shutting down because of a hike in rent price, said Euz Azedo, the president of Ventures, to the Globe.

The restaurant became a local success story when it reopened after repairs.

“The hardworking employees of the Forum suffered a great deal, but preserved and gave the entire region hope and inspiration by opening their doors,” Luz told the Globe. “We’re saddened by the fact that they will no long be in business, but we will never forget what they stood for.”
