Timothy Silvia, the former President of the Brockton chapter of the Outlaws Motorcycle Club, was sentenced in a federal court Wednesday to more than 21 years in prison to be followed by five years of supervised release for “conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute more than five kilograms of cocaine,†the FBI reports.
At the time of his capture Ramirez was holding 15 hostages including anti-corruption activist and former Colombian presidential candidate Ingrid Betancourt, who had been held captive for more than six years.
