
The announcement came via Mass Effect 2’s official Facebook page, where Executive Producer Casey Hudson assured fans that the delay was for the best. “The development team is laser focused on making sure Mass Effect 3 is the biggest, boldest and best game in the series, ensuring that it exceeds everyone’s expectations.”
If Mass Effect 3 does release in the first quarter of next year, it will mirror the release of Mass Effect 2, which released in late January of 2010.
