We’re surprised that there’s not more of this, given the fact that most colleges are run like greedy Fortune 500 companies lately.
The New York Post reported that a New York City woman who recently graduated from Monroe College can’t find a job and says her school isn’t helping her land gainful employment. Trina Thompson filed a lawsuit last week against Monroe in Bronx Supreme Court. The 27-year-old is seeking a return of the $70,000 she spent on tuition.
A spokesman for the college called the suit “completely without merit.”
