Nintendo revealed that Pokémon X and Pokémon Y will feature the new Fairy-type Pokémon. The series hasn’t released a new type since 2000 with the release of Pokémon Gold and Silver. Previously revealed Eevee-evoltution Sylveon, Jigglypuff, Gardevoir, are a few of the confirmed Fairy-type Pokémon. Their attacks are super-effective against Dragon-type.
Pokémon X and Pokémon Y will launch October 12 this year.
