Health officials have figured out what happened to KCBS reporter Serene Branson, who lapsed into gibberish during a live shot after the Grammy Awards last week.
The lapse caught fire on the internet, as video of Serene’s report went viral immediately. Speculation arose that she may have suffered a stroke.
According to WIVB-TV, the reporter has since been evaluated by doctors and it was revealed that she experienced a severe migraine with symptoms that can mimic a stroke.
The source reports that Branson says she hopes to be back on the red carpet reporting for Oscar night.
