Earlier this month, a supposed leaked Blizzard release schedule threw the internet into a fevered tizzy with promises of unannounced World of Warcraft expansions and new projects. One of those projects was the mysterious Project Titan, which the company is now starting to shed a bit of light on…sort of.
“The media is not supposed to know anything about that. It’s our next-gen MMO project,” said Blizzard’s senior VP Frank Pearce said in a recent interview with Destructoid.
“We’ve only started talking about it in a limited fashion because we want to leverage the fact that we’re working on something like that for the purpose of recruiting – getting some of the best talent in the industry on that project,” Pearce added.
Project Titan is expected to release in 2013.
