See that picture there? That’s not the PSP2, no one really knows what the system looks like, but it’s looking more and more like the system is real thanks to a rumor that Sony has begun to hand out prototype units to developers in preparation for “a significant launch window line-up”.
The rumor comes from Develop Magazine who cites anonymous sources. Normally we wouldn’t give any credit to something like this, but the rumor comes on the heels of the new Mortal Kombat developers telling the world that yes, they do have a PSP2, and yes — it’s powerful.
Rumors of the PSP2 have been around for months now and features a system that’s everything from a minor overhaul of the PSP Go to a completely redesigned touch screen console with a Sony/Keyocera phone.
