Infinity Ward Fixes MW2 ‘Super Speed’ Glitch

Modern Warfare 2 developer Infinity Ward has patched up its game, this time fixing a ‘super speed’ glitch plaguing the online battlegrounds.

Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling has stated, via Twitter, that a fix for the Xbox 360 version is on the way, soon to eradicate the issue.

The glitch, as it sounds, exploits the speed of a player in a match, allowing him or her to zip around the environment, knifing enemies at will and acting as a target too quick to hit.

Glad to see it’s gone, especially as the game’s first DLC, the “Stimulus Package” hits Xbox Live a week from today. It bears a $15 price tag, an unprecedented figure, and will be interesting to see how many boycott it.
