On the heels of the PBR — Professional Bull Riding — world finals, Crave Entertainment, and D2C Games announced an upcoming video game of the same persuasion.
You get to play as a bull rider OR as the bull.
“Capturing all the adrenaline and challenge of the Toughest Sport on Dirt, the game lets you play as a pro bull rider or as a bull in multiple events leading up to the World Finals,” Crave said in a statement.
The game will be available for Wii, Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PSP and the PC next October — just in time for the world finals.
“PBR has a dedicated fan base and the sport is poised to become the next NASCAR,” said Rob Dyer, President of Crave Entertainment. “Capturing the intricacies, adrenaline rushes and excitement of professional bull riding is paramount to the success of the games.”
I’m still in disbelief.
You get to play as the frigging bull. Is this cool? I’m not sure.
It’s hard to imagine this game holding your attention for very long, but it sounds like the developers are putting a lot into it.
Players may create their own character and compete as a professional rider or a tenacious bull throughout 10 three-round events in multiple locations, including New York, Anaheim, and Atlanta. Challenge or play as top riders, including Guilherme Marchi, Justin McBride, and Chris Shivers, or play as one of the tour’s ferocious bulls!
The next big thing? I think this is why Jesus invented Web 2.0 — so you can comment on this post.
