If you’ve somehow missed the Gears of War franchise entirely thus far, you may be in luck as Epic Games and Microsoft are planning on giving you one hell of a deal. According to a listing on Gamestop.com, the Gears of War: Ultimate Collection, listed for a February 15 release date will include both Gears of War and its sequel in one package.
Though it’s since been taken down, IGN; who first spotted the listing was able to get a confirmation out of a Microsoft rep — sort of. The rep didn’t announce anything specifically but did announce that a new bundle SKU was coming, and that it didn’t have anything to do with Gears of War 3 or the upcoming Beta that will be bundled with Bulletstorm.
