According to Fox, “The Simpsons,” the longest-running comedy program in TV history, will be back next fall for a 23d season that will bring the beloved animated series to at least 500 episodes.
The program premiered in December 1989 and has won 27 Emmy Awards.
“The Simpsons” airs Sundays at 8 p.m.
