Randy Quaid and his wife, Evi, are on the run from authorities after they skipped a court appearance to answer to allegations they walked out on a $10,000 hotel bill, the Associated Press reports.
The couple was due in a Santa Barbara court on Monday on charges of defrauding an innkeeper. They didn’t show, and warrants have been sworn out for their arrests.
The couple had pleaded not guilty in December and were free on $40,000 bail, which is now forfeited.
Quaid is best known for his National Lampoon movie appearances.
