On Thursday, Dec. 2, KitchenWares on Newbury is kicking off its Winter Cookbook events series with a benefit book signing by local chef and author Joanne Chang. Chang, owner of Boston’s Flour Bakery and Cafe and the author of the new cookbook “Flour,” will discuss her book and offer free samples of her gourmet holiday treats.
The event is being held to benefit Rosie’s Place, which offers food, housing, and education for poor and homeless women.
The event is FREE, but a $10 donation to Rosie’s Place is recommended. Those who purchase Chang’s cookbook and make a donation will receive a goodie bag from KitchenWares.
